Reblog if you’re a girl who likes girls, a boy who likes boys or a person who believes it shouldn’t matter.

aurismelly-deactivated20120223 asked: My high school I went to from the past four years. Our marching band also had a pipe band and I'm like OMFG! I didn't want to play flute because before I moved to Fairfield, California I lived in Washington. My elementary school had an Irish band play but one guy was playing horn pipes. Odiously I was in love because it was so cool and I found it weird on how the high school I attended has a pipe band. I just wannted to share my piping experiences with you. Happy piping! c:

That’s awesome! I started piping in middle school and continued with my pipe band in high school and now I play in college with my school’s band and another Gr. 2 Band. I love playing so much. At first in middle school I didn’t want to play at all  but my mom told me to try so i did and fell in love with it. I have had the same teacher every school I’ve been to and he’s still here at my college. I got to compete in the World Pipe Band Championships in 2006 which was pretty much life changing and I just got upgraded to Grade 2 in solo piping with the EUSPA :)
